  5. :D Thank you. I already got around 25 Crimson Nirnroots before looking at this to complete 'A Return to your Roots,' and was worried I'd picked them all (I've been in Blackreach for three hours trying to complete that quest). Now I can finally get that quest out of the way.

I did notice that you forgot about the root inside the Derelict Pumphouse. On the left side, when you enter, you'll hear it chiming, you have to jump into the water (there are no stairs to get out of the water on that side yet), then press on a valve underwater to raise one of the gates to get to the root. There's another valve to press across from that root to get both gates raised and get back to the exit. ^^ Just thought I'd put that in, since it's a hard one to find.

    1. Thanks for mentioning that! I do remember that now. And weirdly enough, there are a few unattainable crimson nirnroot in Blackreach. For example, I once saw one growing on top of a random wall and when I climbed up there (with great difficulty) I found that I couldn't even pick it! xD I didn't mark it on the map.

  6. Great effort, pity we can't copy the map for future reference, or even the key so we can read the map while looking at the key. I keep having to blow up the map, close it to read the key, then blow the map up again. Like I said, great effort, but spoilt by an insane need to stop people copying information you specifically designed for other people to use?

    1. Well, sir/ma'am, I thought about that and here's how I see it. There's a difference between putting this stuff up freely and putting it up as a reference. The difference is, as you put it, great effort. Since I put effort into personalizing my guide, I take care so that other people will be less likely to reproduce and plagiarize it. Your concern that these cautions make some things difficult for you is completely valid, however, I find that opening the map in another tab is a simple and effective way of addressing this particular problem. Thank you for the compliments, and for using my guide. If you have any requests for quest guides or maps, let me know.

    3. It's easy enough to copy my work if you're determined to... I'll just have to rely on your goodwill not to illegally distribute and/or claim ownership of it. :P

  16. this has to be the shittiest map possible, that has no option for blowing it up, nor any kind of decent visibility. And no right clicking for saving to blow it up with the pc's picture viewer.

    1. Maybe the problem is your inability to read the map instead of the map itself. I'm quite young and I can interpret the map very well. If this map is so shitty then you can just leave and not use it, because that's an option. Find the nirnroot on your own.

    2. I have been playing this game since it came out. I have over 8000 hours game play (check out my steam play time). Maybe now I can finish this quest. Tried a couple of times and got as high as 28 collected (didn't feel like spending any more time on this spent over 3 hours and got bored).
